Educators, get ready for the ultimate showdown! We’re launching the First Five Battle of the Books March Madness Tournament, where YOU and your students help decide which children’s book takes the crown.
How It Works

Think you know which book will win it all? Submit your bracket and predict the champion!
📅 Bracket Predictions Open: March 11–12
Only 750 bracket spots are available, so entries are first come, first served.
🏆 Win Ad-Free First Five Access
The most accurate brackets will win:
1st Place: 1 year of ad-free First Five
2nd–5th Place: 6 months of ad-free First Five
Top 50: 1 free month of ad-free First Five
🗳️ Voting Rounds Begin March 13
Educators and classrooms across the country will vote to decide which books advance!
Round 1: March 13
Round 2: March 16
Quarterfinals: March 17
Semifinals: March 18
Championship: March 19
